Originally from North Carolina, Wiley Corbett III lived in the Washington, DC area, London and Santa Monica before settling in South Florida. Well traveled, with trips from Europe to India and across Asia, he could have settled anywhere. He chose South Florida.

That background serves relocation and pied-à-terre buyers well. He knows firsthand what it means to arrive somewhere new: finding your bearings and discerning which neighborhood suits the way you live.

He arrived in Miami in 2009 and made it home until 2017, living the city from the sands of Miami Beach to the banyans of Coconut Grove and on to Edgewater and Wynwood as they came into their own. Along the way, he learned how much a neighborhood can change from one block to the next.

His wife is a first-generation Cuban-American, raised in Miami by a family that emigrated from Cuba, so the city has never been simply a market to him. It is family, and it opens the door to a Miami most visitors never see. Together they have a blended family, with grown children on both sides and a young adopted son at home.

From Miami he moved north to Fort Lauderdale, spending several years living on the beach and subsequently making a home in Oakland Park. Today he resides in Wellington. He knows intimately how each place lives: the pulse of Miami, the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, the open horizons of Wellington and the energy of West Palm Beach and Palm Beach.

His travels led him to St. Barth in his twenties, and the island spoke to him immediately: sophisticated but never pretentious. He has returned ever since, eventually establishing both a business and an apartment there, and counts many who live on the island among his friends. He understands second-home life intimately: arriving, settling in, locking up and departing, and expecting everything to run seamlessly in your absence. If St. Barth is on your horizon, Wiley is happy to facilitate introductions through trusted agencies on the island and his own personal network.
